It may suit those whose eyebrows are already thick and well shaped. The color tends to hold on to strand of eyebrows better than adhering to the skin, hence, for people with very sparse eyebrows, and maybe, for my case, eyebrows that end halfway, I don't really reckon this eyebrow pencil as a choice. Besides that, I am sure, from the picture below, it is pretty obvious, the eyebrow pencil comes in a unique shape, and not those commonly found pencil head. As such, I do find it troublesome that I need to constantly check and be sure I get my eyebrow pencil sharpen regularly so to avoid it being too blunt for my liking.

Shu Uemura eye brow pencil
Today, I would like to blog about Shu Uemura "Hard formula" eyebrow pencil.
The color I have is natural brown.
I notice the texture is not really waxy enough for my liking.

As shown at the side is my eyebrow drawn with the Shu Uemura's eyebrow pencil. The color is perfect for my eyebrow as well as my skin color, however, I would still prefer grey color, as my hair color is black.
It is a good buy if you intend for a long lasting eyebrow pencil, and you are someone who is discipline enough to keep track of the time you'll need to drop by the counter to get your eyebrow pencil sharpen. Otherwise, I will recommend you to try out the Shiseido's eyebrow pencil which is a much greater option in my opinion.

Chanel UV Essential SPF 50/PA +++
My very first review for the new year would be on the Chanel UV Essential SPF 50/PA +++.
After searching for THE perfect sunscreen for years, I finally caved in, and bought this baby, which has very good ratings in Makeupalley.
I used it for roughly bout 4months, and the overall experience was good.
The texture is runny, and reminded me a lot of the japanese sunscreen, though slightly thicker than Shiseido sunscreen's texture.
As you can see from the picture below, it comes in a 30ml bottle, very well pack, and in my opinion, very classy packaging indeed.
This is basically a bottle I have completed using. I didn't repurchase as I am still searching for a good and reasonably priced sunscreen. I can't justify the hefty price tag for such small bottle of sunscreen.
Now, this is an up close picture of the product, once pour out from the bottle. As you can see, it's less runny than most Japanese sunscreen, though it is unlike most European sunscreens which are generally on a thicker context.
You need to shake the bottle first, and makesure the products are well mix before using.
Here is the smoothed out view of the sunscreen. Spread it out carefully, and there will be no white cast.
On Makeupalley, I read that it is completely non-sticky and no sheen whatsoever. However, my personal opinion is that I do feel it looking slightly shining on me though after a few seconds after the initial application, everything became normal.
I do apply some powder after the sunscreen so as to have a more matte look.
To sum it up, this is a rather good sunscreen, which did not break me out and did not make me extra oily in the afternoon, but I do have the habit of blotting my face after lunch everyday.
However, I need to confess that I didn't like it that much towards the end of the product.
I actually stop using it for awhile when it was nearly finish. I was curious, and ventured out for other brands. After a about 3 months later, I wanted to clear my unwanted products, and then I tried it on again, hoping to empty the bottle and to dispose it. Sad to say, my face reacted negatively to the sunscreen then, it started to break out slightly every now and then around my mouth. I stopped using it then.
I hope readers who plan to try out this sunscreen will have success with it then.
